Creator Tools

Comment replies that sound like you.

For Instagram and Facebook creators. I learn how you talk to your audience, reply to the comments on your posts in your voice, and show you every reply and your weekly numbers on one private page.

What you get

Replies in your voice

I build your reply style from replies you have already written, so the words, the warmth and the emoji are yours.

Your merch gets the link

When someone asks where to buy your merch, they get a reply with the link.

Anything that needs you is flagged

Comments that should come from you personally wait on your page with a note on why.

One private page, every week

Your page shows every reply that went out in your name, the comments waiting on you, and your views, reach and engagement for the week. You also get a short weekly summary of what people are asking for.

How it starts

01

A short call

We talk through your audience, what you sell, and which comments you want to answer yourself. You fill in a questionnaire after.

02

Your reply account

You connect your Instagram and Facebook to the posting account your replies go out through. I walk you through it.

03

Your first month

You see each reply before it goes out, and we adjust the wording together until it sounds like you.

04

After that

Replies to kind comments go out on their own. Anything that needs you shows up on your page.

How the Meta connection works

Each creator I work with has a private Creator Tools page at bcl-consulting.com/creatortools/<name>, protected by a passphrase. On that page the creator can connect their Facebook Page and Instagram professional account through the BCL Creator Tools app. They choose, on Facebook's own screen, which Page and Instagram account to share.

The connection is read only. It lets the page show the creator their own recent posts, comments and insights. Replies to comments go out through a separate posting account the creator connects themselves, outside this app.

What each permission is used for

pages_show_list The Pages the creator chose to share, so the page can find their Page and its linked Instagram account.
business_management Lets the page find a Page owned by a business portfolio, and shows the portfolio's name.
pages_read_engagement The Page name, follower count, and recent posts with their reaction and comment counts.
pages_read_user_content The five most recent comments on the latest Page post.
read_insights Page views, post engagement and new follows for the past 7 days, and approximate earnings for the past 28 days.
instagram_basic The Instagram username, follower count, post count, and the six most recent posts with their like and comment counts.
instagram_manage_comments The five most recent comments on the latest Instagram post. The app only reads them.
instagram_manage_insights Instagram reach, views, accounts engaged and total interactions for the past 7 days.

What the app never does

  • Post or comment through this connection
  • Read private messages
  • Show one creator's data to another creator
  • Sell the data or use it for advertising
  • Keep access after the creator disconnects

What is stored

The access token Meta issues, and the list of shared Pages and granted permissions, are kept until the creator disconnects or asks for deletion. Posts, comments and insights are fetched when the page is opened and held in server memory for up to 15 minutes.

Tapping Disconnect on a Creator Tools page revokes the app's access with Meta and deletes the stored token.
